We Have the Power to Make a Difference.

The Foundation has the same passion that USTA Texas has when it comes to working with people with disabilities. Our goal is to promote and develop recreational tennis opportunities for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities through inclusion and support by providing organizations like the Grillo Sullivan Foundation with equipment, training, curriculum and funding.

Cindy Benzon, USTA
Adaptive/Wheelchair Coordinator

In almost every household, you will find someone with a disability,” said Macke-Hines, who holds a doctorate in organizational development. “I suffer from multiple sclerosis, and some days I walk normally, and on other days, I can hardly walk at all. It’s wonderful that there is going to be a place where I can enjoy physical activities on both good days and bad days, and not be looked at differently just because I have a handicap.

Lason Macke-Hines, PhD Texas Education Agency

It is our greatest pleasure to write a letter of support for The Christina Grillo Sullivan Foundation. This organization has displayed a commitment to our Special Olympics athletes by going above and beyond what we have asked. Special Olympics Texas fully supports the hard work and efforts of Foundation and their partners as they continue to make a big difference in our Gulf Coast community.”
