About this event

On Friday, February 11, 2022, Coastal Community Church along with Christina Sullivan Foundation will “host” Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older.

Due to COVID-19 and the safety of every honored guests as a top priority, Night to Shine 2022 will be a Shine-Thru Parade and Virtual Celebration. This unique virtual event will be complete with all of the treasured prom elements, as every guest will get to enjoy music, dancing, prom favors, messages from special guests…all leading up to the moment when each guest is crowned king or queen of the prom.

To make this night special each guest will receive an exclusive Night to Shine Experience Kit to enjoy while they participate in the virtual event. This kit will include a crown or tiara and other gifts to make the honored guests feel celebrated and special. Even though this year will look a little different from years past, we want to make this night as incredible as possible for these unbelievably deserving individuals.

This year as part of Night to Shine we will host a fun Shine-Thru event from 5:00-7:00 where our registered kings/queens can drive-thru a “red Carpet” area at Coastal Community Church/Christina Sullivan Foundation to pick up(TBD) your night to shine experience kit. The Shine-Thru event will have music, photo area, food, bands, and people cheering for our special guests. The guest will not be able to get out of the car but will be able to have a fun time while picking up their gift.

If you are not able to attend the Shine Thru event we will deliver or make other arrangements for you to have your kit before the virtual event on Friday evening.

The Christina Sullivan Foundation Annual Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament Fundraiser is an event to bring awareness to the Mission of the Foundation to assist children and adults with intellectual and physical challenges through Adaptive & Unified Sports. The event takes place over two days for the Tournament and Expo in April!

The Christina Grillo Sullivan Foundation Event Adaptive Tennis  for special needs athletes is to adapt the court, balls, racket, and net to the size and strength level of athletes.. These alternations create the opportunity for younger players to spend more time hitting balls rather than chasing them. It allows them to work on tennis skills and accelerate their development making it easier for children to succeed. The hope is that earlier success in tennis will translate to a lifetime of interest in the sport that brings about the benefits stress reliver, physical exercise, interaction, building self-confidence.
